What TruLata does
TruLata is a marketing platform for service businesses that runs the work for you instead of handing you another tool to set up. It started as a marketing agency for service businesses in 2017 and the team turned that playbook into software. The platform runs search, Google and Meta ads, content, outbound and email on a schedule, and puts it all in one dashboard that shows what happened and what it cost.
The piece contractors will care about most is the lead ledger. Every lead from your own website is logged with its source, so when a call or form fill comes in you can see whether it came from a Google ad, an article, or an outbound email.
Plans
| Plan | Monthly | What’s added |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $400 | Dashboard and analytics, search visibility, AI search visibility, managed Google Ads (search), lead ledger, 3 seats. 7-day trial, no card |
| Launch | $650 | Adds the content engine, publishing on your cadence, 3 seats |
| Growth | $1,200 | Adds Meta ads management (Facebook and Instagram), 10 seats |
| Command | Scoped per engagement | Adds outbound engine, social media management and a full marketing team, unlimited seats |
Billing is flat monthly with no setup fee, and an annual commitment takes 20% off. There is also a separate website builder: free to build, $49/mo or $468/yr to go live.
The pricing page does not say whether ad spend is billed through TruLata or paid straight to Google and Meta. Ask before you sign, because that number is often bigger than the platform fee.
Who it fits
Home-service shops that want marketing handled and have a budget to match: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, garage doors, fencing, lawn care and landscaping, remodeling, pest control and cleaning. At $400 a month and up, it is priced against a part-time marketer or a small agency retainer, not against a DIY email tool. If you want to build and run your own campaigns, look at the tools on the marketing automation hub instead.
Integrations
TruLata connects to the major CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Insightly, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive), email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign), outbound tools (Apollo, Clay, Instantly, Smartlead), SEO platforms (SpyFu, Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz), social schedulers, the ad platforms, GA4, Search Console, Stripe, and WordPress, Webflow and Shopify sites. The vendor says a connector it has not built yet is built during setup. Note that it does not list the contractor-specific CRMs and field service platforms, such as JobNimbus, Jobber or ServiceTitan, so confirm how leads reach your system of record before you buy.
Try the demo first
The public demo at demo.trulata.com runs on a fictional company called Meridian. It takes a name and email and no card. The vendor says every figure in it is invented, and the screens are the same ones clients see. Click through every menu item and try to find a headline number that leads nowhere.
